PARENT & FAMILY COACHING

Parent and family coaching

Support for parents and families who want less blame, more understanding, and a calmer way forward.

Less blame.
More understanding.
A calmer way forward.

WHEN HOME FEELS HARD

When family life feels stuck in repeat

Every day can start to feel the same.

You remind your child to get dressed, pack their bag, brush their teeth, put their shoes on, move away from the screen, start the homework, stop winding up their sibling, calm down, hurry up, slow down.

By the afternoon, the same conversations repeat. By the evening, patience is thin.

You might wonder why this keeps happening, whether they are listening, why they can focus for hours on something they love but not manage a simple instruction, or whether you are getting it wrong.

AND YOUR CHILD MAY BE FEELING IT TOO

They may hear reminders as criticism. They may feel misunderstood, corrected or in trouble. They may start to believe they are lazy, difficult or not trying hard enough.

That can be painful for everyone.

A DIFFERENT LENS

What if we looked at it differently?

Parent and family coaching creates space to pause and look at these experiences through a neurodivergent lens.

What if your child is not being difficult, but having difficulty?

What if the behaviour is communication?

What if the hard moments are linked to executive functioning, sensory overwhelm, emotional regulation, transitions, anxiety, masking or unmet needs?

This does not mean there are no boundaries. It means we start with understanding, so the support makes sense.

THE WIDER PICTURE

When neurodivergence runs through a family

For many parents, there is another layer.

You may be supporting a neurodivergent child while beginning to recognise similar patterns in yourself, sometimes for the first time.

When ADHD, autism or AuDHD runs through a family, everyone is affected. The strain can make the strengths harder to see.

Coaching can help create enough breathing space to notice what is underneath the stress, the exhaustion and the repeated battles.

Coaching can help families move from conflict to collaboration

When parents understand more about how their child's brain works, responses can start to shift.

The focus becomes less about blame and more about curiosity.

Less

“Why won't you just do it?”

More

“What is getting in the way?”

Less

Repeating the same battle.

More

Noticing what helps, what escalates, and what your child might need in that moment.

Over time, this can support more trust, more autonomy and more connection.

FOR YOU TOO

For the parent who is trying so hard

You do not need to be a perfect parent to be a good one.

You can love your child deeply and still feel exhausted, frustrated or unsure what to do next.

You can understand neurodivergence and still lose your patience.

You can want to respond differently and still fall into old patterns when everyone is tired.

This is not about judgement.

It is about giving you space to reflect, understand and find a way forward that feels more compassionate for your child and for you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What sessions are like

Sessions can focus on your child, your parenting, family relationships, school situations, home routines, emotional wellbeing or anything else that feels important.

We can explore what is happening, what might be sitting underneath the behaviour, and what kind of support could help.

You do not need to arrive with everything worked out.

We can start with the messy middle. That is usually where the useful stuff is.

START WITH A SIMPLE CONVERSATION

Start with a free discovery call

If you are curious about parent or family coaching, we can begin with a free 30-minute discovery call. It is a relaxed conversation to talk through what has been happening and whether coaching feels like a good next step.
