MY STORY

This lived experience shapes everything I do.

I’m a certified ADHD and Neurodivergent Coach, a late-identified AuDHD adult, and a parent to two neurodivergent daughters.

I’ve spent over 25 years working with children, adults and families in lots of different settings. I trained as a social worker, went on to do postgraduate training in systemic practice, and have held leadership roles along the way.

All of that means I tend to look at the bigger picture: not just what’s happening for you, but the relationships, pressures and systems around you too.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2019, and it was through my own coaching and learning that I later realised I’m autistic as well.

So I know how much it can mean to feel properly seen and accepted as you are, and what a difference it makes when your brain is met with curiosity and kindness rather than judgement or pressure to fit in.

I definitely don’t have it all figured out. I still get lost coming out of car parks, buy things I don’t really need, and have to think carefully before saying yes to that party or favour.

My own experience keeps me grounded, while reminding me that everyone’s experience of neurodivergence is their own.

EXPERIENCE

My professional background

25+ YEARS working alongside children, young people, adults and families

I have spent over 25 years working alongside children, young people, adults and families across a range of settings.

My background includes youth work, social work, multidisciplinary teams supporting individuals with trauma backgrounds, senior leadership roles, coaching in schools and workplaces, and training around ADHD and neurodiversity.

Youth work Social work Multidisciplinary teams Senior leadership Schools & workplace coaching Neurodiversity training

That experience helps me hold the whole picture.

Coaching is not only about routines, productivity or remembering where you put your keys, although we can absolutely talk about those things too.

It is also about identity, confidence, relationships, emotional load, self-trust, family patterns, masking, communication and the stories people have carried about themselves for years.

HOW I WORK

Warm, non-judgemental and collaborative.

I do not believe ADHD, autism or neurodivergence needs fixing.

Instead, coaching offers space to untangle unhelpful myths, notice strengths that are often overlooked, and support the parts that feel harder.

Sessions are personalised and shaped around what matters to you. That might include day-to-day life, parenting, work, emotional wellbeing, relationships, confidence, boundaries, school challenges, family communication or simply making sense of yourself in a new way.

There is no script you need to follow. There is no expectation to arrive polished or prepared.

You can come as you are.

WHY SQUIGGLY MINDS EXISTS

For people who deserve to feel understood.

FOR THE ADULT

It is for the adult who has been called too much, too sensitive, too inconsistent or too chaotic.

FOR THE PARENT

It is for the parent who is trying so hard, but still feels stuck in the same arguments.

FOR THE CHILD

It is for the child who hears correction after correction and starts to believe something is wrong with them.

FOR SCHOOLS & WORKPLACES

It is for schools and workplaces that want to understand and support neurodivergent people with more confidence, curiosity and care.

Most of all, it is for anyone who wants to move away from shame and towards understanding.

Your brain is not broken. It is beautifully different.
